GOLF NEWS:TIGER WOODS' wife was not allowed ride with him to hospital following his car crash on November 27th because the ambulance crew thought it was a case of domestic violence, highway patrol records revealed yesterday.

Elin Nordegren Woods also handed officers two bottles of pain medicine at the scene of the crash that she said the golfer had taken earlier in the day.

Those details and others were released by the Florida highway patrol, following a December 16th public records request by the Orlando Sentinel.

The documents also show police tried to get a subpoena for any blood samples that might have been taken at the hospital, HealthCentral in Ocoee, but the prosecutor’s office denied the request.
