THE absence of Neil Dolan and David McKinley, both of whom were sent off against Offaly the previous week, was sorely felt by Westmeath in Saturday's Leinster Under 21 football semi final in Tullamore.

Meath played a more constructive brand of football and looked a lot more dangerous in front of goal. Although Westmeath enjoyed a lot of possession, much of it was wasted when it came to finishing.
