Waterford scored a two-point win over Cork in an entertaining South-East League final, before 2,500 spectators at Walsh Park yesterday. Aided by the wind on the resumption, Waterford asserted themselves and six unanswered points put them in the lead. A Paul Flynn goal with five minutes remaining proved the winner.
