WATERFORD women were in devastating form as they took the Munster Senior Football title for the third year in-a-row at Fraher Field, Dungarvan, yesterday.

From the start they had superiority in all the vital sectors and by half-time Clare's hopes had been all but been dashed as they trailed 1-9 to 0-2.

Aine Wall and Geraldine O'Ryan were unstoppable for the home team with Wall ending the first half and beginning the second with well taken goals.

Clare's goal came from a fisted effort by Sonia Maher, but by this stage it was already all over.
