MANCHESTER UNITED are refusing to reveal the contents of a letter sent in reply to the Football Association's demand for reconciliation between goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel and Arsenal striker Ian Wright.

While Wright responded swiftly to the FA's directive that he and Schmeichel should make up after their onfield clashes this season, United solicitor Maurice Watkins revealed the club would not make public their views on the matter.
