Ulster finished the first day of the girls' under-18 interprovincial hockey tournament in Portadown with a commanding three-point advantage after wins over Connacht and Munster.Pamela Orr claimed a hat-trick as the hosts began with a 4-0 win over Connacht and then plundered the only goal of the game against title holders Munster.Eimear Curtin scored the winner as Munster began with a 1-0 victory over Leinster, who later defeated South East 3-0, helped by a double by Jenny Osborne.
