Tyrone made it through to the Ulster Minor Football Championship final with an unspectacular but industrious performance at Clones yesterday. There was never any doubt that the they would repeat their Minor League win of a few months ago. Monaghan found themselves under pressure right from the start, with Martin Penrose kicking two early points, followed by scores from Sean Cavanagh, Shane Mallon and defender Aidan O'Kane. With full forward Paddy McMahon excelling as target man, Tyrone crafted chance after chance.
