Cathal Boland, Chairman of Fingal County Council, achieved the ambition of every golfer when he had his first ever hole in one at the 11th in Elm Green last week. Also joining the Hole in One club was Seapoint's Colm Fealy who had his ace at the 15th. Also at Seapoint, Ronan Walsh was a golfer in form. Playing off 19, he scored a magnificent 48 stableford points in Sunday's singles competition at the Co Louth club.
