Former Ireland full back Conor O'Shea captained London Irish to their best performance of the season with a win over Gloucester at the Stoop in the Tetley's Cup. O'Shea enjoyed a solid game for Dick Best's charges while under-21 international scrumhalf Kieron Campbell scored one of Irish's two tries, capitalising on a neat chip from Kevin Putt. Kieron Dawson was also a central figure before being replaced by Andrew Mower eight minutes from time.
