Mark Mansfield (Age: 38; Event: 470 Star Class) - Teamed with Tom McWilliams he was 14th in the Barcelona Games, and also competed at the Atlanta Games.

David Burrows (Age: 23; Event: Finn Class) - Competed at the Atlanta Olympics as a 19-year-old and finished 12th with Mark Mansield.

Maria Coleman (Age: 32; Event: Europe Class) - Moved to Denmark a few years ago and started full-time sailing and training in November '98 with a view to winning this place.

David O'Brien (Age: 35; Event: 470 Star Class) - With helmsman John Lavery, he won both the European and World Fireball Championship in 1995. Teamed up with Mark Mansfield to win bronze at the World Star Class Championship in April.
