Swimming event for Dublin

THE National swimming championships, originally arranged for Belfast, have been switched to Dublin, starting on July 23rd.

THE National swimming championships, originally arranged for Belfast, have been switched to Dublin, starting on July 23rd.

Because of the unrest in Northern Ireland, a special meeting of the IASA executive committee was called in Dublin last night "in response to the concerns of parents and clubs" and it was decided to take the championships out of the Grove Baths and relocate them in Dublin at the Guinness Pool. There will be no change in the dates or sessions.
