BLANDFORD trainer Robert Alner hopes to have three runners in the Whitbread Gold Cup at Sandown this day week, he announced yesterday. "I've got Charlie Swan for Bishop's Hall and Rupert Nuttall will ride Harwell Lad but I haven't got a jockey for Flyer's Nap yet," he said.
"Richard Dunwoody did show some interest but he has decided to ride Inchcailloch instead. At this stage I intend having three runners in the Whitbread as they are all so well."
