MALCOLM JEFFERSON'S highly talented Dato Star has recovered from injury and the Malton trainer is aiming to go one better with the five year old in the November Handicap at Doncaster.

The gelding was second in the final big handicap of the Flat season last year, beaten by the well weighted Snow Princess after meeting trouble in running.

Malton based Jefferson revealed he has already secured Kieren Fallon for the Tote Credit sponsored renewal on November 9th. Kieren's been booked since last year as soon as he got off he said he'd like the ride again.
