We would never be so impudent as to question Kevin Keegan's managerial magnificence, but last week he was quoted in the English press, on successive days, talking about his penalty shootout preparation strategy, should his England team be faced with the predicament at Euro 2000. "You cannot practice penalties," he said on day one. "We will practise penalties," he said on day two. For England's sake, let's hope their players are a tad more decisive as they prepare to take their spot kicks this summer.
