In just two pre-season matches Spanish first division club Racing Santander have managed to score an incredible 59 goals.

The impressive total is two goals more than they scored in all of last season's cup and league competitions.

The victims of Racing's goal glut were Smilde G4 - a humble Dutch side forming part of the Spanish side's pre-season campaign in the Netherlands.

Racing won 33-0 in their first encounter with the Dutch side, who now have the unfortunate distinction of being able to say that they improved by losing only 26-0 in their second match.

Next up on Thursday for the free-scoring Racing are Dwingeloo, another modest Dutch club. Racing defeated them 15-0 in the corresponding fixture last season.
