It has been quite a summer for the 13-year-old Crowe twins, Morgan and Stewart, from Elm Park. They joined the club in January and in the past nine months they have both seen their handicaps reduced from 18 to 12. Stewart won the Junior Captain's Prize with his brother runner-up, while Morgan won the club's Sean O'Hanlon Junior matchplay championship.

Morgan's matchplay victory was particularly memorable given that his father, also Morgan, was beaten in the final of that competition in 1970.
