Portsmouth are running the rule over former Brazil winger Denilson.

The 28-year-old, a free agent after leaving Bordeaux during the summer, is on trial at the south coast club although Saudi Arabian side Al-Nasr claim to already have an agreement to sign him.

Denilson, who was capped 61 times by Brazil and has a 2002 World Cup-winners' medal, joined Real Betis for a then-world record £22million from Sao Paulo in 1998.
