The 24-year-old summer signing from Tottenham has not played for the relegation-threatened Addicks since mid-January and recently underwent an operation.

Manager Alan Pardew today confirmed the Dubliner would not play again before the end of the campaign.

Reid had targeted Ireland's tour to the United States in May as his international comeback but his participation is all but ruled out now.
