Bray Wanderers 1 Bohemians 2: Bohemians closed the gap on fifth placed Bray Wanderers with a 2-1 win over their Premier Division rivals at the Carlisle Grounds this evening.

The Gypsies took the lead through Christy Fagan in the 36th minute, when he finished at the second attempt after seeing his header from Killian Brennan’s cross saved by Matt Gregg.

The visitors doubled their lead a minute after the restart when Fagan nipped in ahead of Gregg to latch on to Adam Mitchell’s headed backpass and finish smartly.

Gary Dempsey’s deflected effort gave Bray some hope with 11 minutes to go but though they pressed hard there was no reward for the homeside.
