World champion Michael Schumacher continued his build up for the Monaco Grand Prix on May 19th by dominating Formula One testing for the second day running yesterday. Schumacher delighted the Ferrari camp by clocking the best lap of one minute 27.84 seconds.

His nearest challenger was Jacques Villeneuve who recorded 1:28.05 in a Williams. The Canadian's team mate, world championship leader Damon Hill, was absent.

Only two other drivers were inside the 1:29 mark - Austrian Gerhard Berger in a Benetton and Briton David Coulthard in a McLaren.
