Derek Ryan moved in to the quarter-finals of the Mahindra Squash International in Bombay yesterday after his opponent Martin Heath of Scotland, was forced to withdraw from the tournament after suffering from food poisoning.

Ryan plays world number one Jansher Khan in the outdoow match tonight, held at the Cricket Club of India in a floodlit perspex court. The Pakistani star, who is still recovering from a bout of tonsilitis, beat Australia's Dan Jenson in four games in yesterday's round.
