CISTERCIAN College, Roscrea, scored five tries to qualify with ease at Naas for the Leinster Schools' Senior Cup quarter finals.

They were on top during a one sided first half and tries by John McLoughlin, David Greene and David Mescal gave them a commanding lead. Shane Garvey landed two penalties and a conversion and although Conor Monaghan replied with a penalty, the winners led 23-3 at half time.

Bray played much better in the second half but their only reward was a late try by out half Alan Toner. By this time, John Redmond had crossed for Roscrea's fourth try and Garvey had added a drop goal and a conversion. McLoughlin finished the scoring.
