ITALY'S footballers union (AIC) yesterday called for action after Paul Ince and Inter Milan team mate Aron Winter were subjected to racist abuse at the weekend.

Ince and Winter were abused during and after the match and police had to intervene when Verona fans threw missiles at the two men as they stood by the team bus. Inter's Jocelyn Angloma was also taunted during the match.
