Unlucky Brendan Powell is facing up to another spell on the sidelines after cracking two ribs at Doncaster yesterday. Powell walked away in pain after taking a heavy fall from Monnaie Forte in the Harworth Handicap Chase. He went to the Doncaster Royal Infirmary for treatment and x-rays revealed the extent of the injuries. The setback is a devastating blow for Powell (39) who only returned to the saddle last Saturday at Kempton.
