Oakler booked his ticket for the Digital Galway Plate next week after justifying favouritism with considerable ease in the featured Aer Rianta Shannon Handicap Chase at a showery Tipperary yesterday.

Tom Treacy's mount headed long-time leader Inniscein before the last, and was eased right down to score by one and a half lengths.

"The penalty he will get for winning here will put him into the weights in the Plate, and I will also run Corket there," said winning trainer Frances Crowley.

Jim Bolger and Kevin Manning were in double form with maiden winners Aeraiocht and Azarina.

Tidjani could bid for a big-race double at the Ballybrit Festival after ending a long losing run in the Stanley Racing Handicap Hurdle. The six-year-old, who led on the run-in to beat Storm Gem by one and a half lengths, has the GPT Amateur Handicap and the Guinness Galway Hurdle on his agenda.
