Place-kicking options

Dublin

Dublin

Declan Darcy - The team's best option, but lack of fitness makes him unlikely to start.

Jim Gavin - Has coped with free-taking duties over the past three seasons. Kicks off the hand. Poor the last day.

Jason Sherlock - Has been practising the free-taking duties this week. Enhanced point-scoring from play presumably suggested the gamble.

Vinnie Murphy - Another to practise frees in the lead-up to today. If early attempts went well, it could lift his game.

Kildare

Padraig Brennan - Like his predecessor Padraig Gravin, he's accurate but he is more involved in general play.

John Doyle - Impressive point-scoring against Offaly, his free-taking in the drawn Leinster final was erratic.
