SQUASH:MADELINE PERRY won her 13th national title at Fitzwilliam yesterday, defeating Sligo's Aisling Blake in the final. Perry, who won the Australian Open earlier this year and rose to the top five of the world rankings, has been struggling with a shoulder injury that forced her to miss the World Team Championships earlier this month. Despite the handicap, Perry took a two-game lead – 11-9, 11-7 – before Blake, ranked 24 in the world, took the third 11-5. Perry fell early in the fourth game but, after a break, carried on to secure victory 11-8. In the men's final, top seed John Rooney beat Arthur Gaskin to take the title.
