WEXFORD SFC FINAL: Horeswood 3-11 St Anne's 1-15:A 20th-minute first-half purple patch set Horeswoood on their way to an eventual two-point victory over a battling St Anne's in this excellent Wexford SFC final at Wexford Park yesterday.

Jonathan Fogarty’s brilliant goal helped St Anne’s lead 1-3 to 0-0 after eight minutes. However, the game was transformed by two rather fortuitous goals from Jim Wall and David Shannon that brought Horeswood level. Horeswood added their third goal just before the break. PJ Banville set up Wall who found the net to establish a 3-7 to 1-6 interval lead.
