RACING:RUBY WALSH could be on board his father Ted's Seabass in the John Smith's Grand National at Aintree on Saturday week, but the Kill trainer is prepared to play a waiting game.

The nine-year-old has won his last seven starts all told and bids to give his trainer a second National success after Papillon landed a massive gamble in the hands of Ruby in 2000. Sister Katie is waiting in the wings having guided Seabass to two victories this season.

“Everything is okay with him at the minute anyway and he’s on course for Aintree,” said Walsh. “We’ll have to wait and see who rides him. I’m waiting to see what Ruby wants to do and we’ll go from there,” added Walsh, who will probably decide late next week.
