A FULL STRENGTH Offaly side, unbeaten in Division Four of the National Football League, proved far too strong for an experimental Longford outfit in this completely one sided tie at Pearse Park.

Rock solid in defence and very much on top at midfield, Offaly were razor sharp in attack and it was all over as a contest at halftime at which stage they had built up a runaway 2-16 to 0-2 lead.
