ATHLETICS:DERVAL O'ROURKE finished a close fourth in the 60 metres hurdles at the international indoor meeting in Linz, Austria, last night with a time of 8.18 seconds.

This followed her 8.16 run in Vienna the previous night when she admitted to being very rusty after her five-month break from competition.

“She was again rusty tonight,” said her coach, Seán Cahill. “But she felt very strong and also had a good run in her heat earlier in the night.

“But it’s still seven weeks to the world indoors and she is definitely getting there.”
