IT TOOK extra-time to produce a winner of the O Fiaich Cup in yesterday's entertaining final at Crossmaglen, with Tyrone eventually coming out on top over Derry - 1-14 to 1-11 - after the sides were deadlocked on 1-8 each after 60 minutes.

A game which started poorly really came to life after half an hour and although both sides fielded vastly under strength there was no shortage of thrills and entertainment and some excellent football.
