THE Chinese government said yesterday it had no intention of boycotting the Atlanta Olympics this summer. "Until now there have been no circumstances that would cause us not to take part in these Olympic Games," said Foreign Ministry spokesman Shen Guofang.

Sports minister Wu Shaozu said last week China might boycott Atlanta if the US invited Taiwan government officials.
