New job for Collins

FORMER BOHEMIANS, Shamrock Rovers and Dublin City manager Roddy Collins has taken charge of Maltese side Floriana.

FORMER BOHEMIANS, Shamrock Rovers and Dublin City manager Roddy Collins has taken charge of Maltese side Floriana.

The Valetta-based side have an international partnership deal with Rovers, and are nicknamed “The Irish”.

Although Malta’s most successful club, Floriana have not won a trophy since the mid-1990s, and employed three coaches during a poor 2008/09 season.
