HOCKEY:THE IRISH women's team produced a valiant first-half effort before going down 5-0 to the Netherlands in their Investec Cup meeting in London yesterday.
But once the Dutch broke the deadlock two minutes before half-time there was no stopping them. Ireland’s next game is a fifth/sixth place play-off on Sunday.
