THE development of Cusack Park, Mullingar merits the largest grant (£50,000) of the 12 beneficiaries on the latest GAA Management Committee list of grants and loans to clubs announced yesterday. An estimated £1 million has been distributed in the past year on grants (£471,000) and loans (£544,000).

The largest loan on the Management Committee's most recently approved list, £100,000, goes to the Waterford County Board who have undertaken major development work at Walsh Park.

Markievicz Park, Sligo has received a grant of £30,000 while Fitzgerald Park, Fermoy and Waterford have each being grant aided to the extent of 20,000.
