NICK FALDO and Howard Clark continue to head the overseas challenge in the £1 million AT and T National Pro Am at Pebble Beach, California, after shooting second round 69s.

The British duo are on 138 for the tournament - two shots behind leader Jeff Maggert who registered a second round 68.

Sandy Lyle, who opened with a 70, slipped off the pace after a second round 75 while Barry Lane followed his first round 73 with a disappointing 79.
