Clive Brittain's successful globetrotter Luso (6 to 4) struck again in the Group One WGZ Bank Deutschland Preis at Dusseldorf yesterday. Luso's success in the mile and a half event enabled Clive Brittain to round off a memorable weekend abroad after winning the Group Two Prix Robert Papin in France on Saturday with Greenlander.

Greenlander only just scrapped home whereas Luso had a much easier time of it under Frankie Dettori by making all for a comfortable three lengths victory.

Wurftaube took the runnerup spot two lengths in front of Protektor, with Peter ChappleHyam's Royal Court (John Reid) fourth of the six runners.
