Limerick 1-9 Leitrim 0-11:LIMERICK BEAT Leitrim at Kilmallock yesterday to preserve their Division Three status for next season. Leitrim made the better start and were 0-7 to 0-4 ahead by the end of the first half.

Ian Ryan, John Galvin and Andrew Lane pointed for Limerick to level before Stephen Kelly struck the goal. Three points from Emlyn Mulligan had it level by the third quarter and in final minute Diarmuid Carroll put over the winning point.
