LIMERICK MANAGER Justin McCarthy has shuffled his deck here with Tom Condon replacing dual star Mark O’Riordan at left corner back, an indication that the latter may be switching to football, while Mike O’Brien and Paul Browne replace Wayne McNamara and the injured Niall Moran in attack.

This is already a successful Laois season having defeated Antrim last week; a result that compromised the relegation play-offs.

Whether Niall Rigney’s progressive work can move on to another level is highly unlikely, with Limerick expected to comfortably set-up an All-Ireland quarter-final against Dublin with Tipperary waiting in the last four.

It is the path McCarthy and his players will believe they can travel.

LAOIS:T Doran; JA Delaney, D Maher, B Stapleton; M Whelan, B Campion, M McEvoy; C Delaney, J Walsh; E Jackman, W Hyland, O Holohan; T Fitzgerald, J Brophy, E Costelloe.
