Justin Leonard shot a second five-under-par 67 to grab a share of the lead early in the second round of the PGA Texas Open in San Antonio.

On Thursday, DA Weibring birdied his final two holes to cap a seven-under-par 65 and take sole possession of the lead after the first round.

Weibring (45), won the 1996 Greater Hartford Open but has since been afflicted with Bell's palsy. His 1997 earnings of $119,044 was his lowest total in eight years. His best 1998 finish is a tie for fifth at the Quad City Classic in July.
