A hole in one in the Hole in One Society? Naas 18 handicap member Mary O'Keeffe achieved the feat at the society's final outing of the century when she scored a hole in one at Kilkea Castle. The Hole in One Society was formed in 1980 and has a membership of 90 golfers (45 men and 45 women). It is a condition of membership that the members have had a hole in one in an official competition - GUI or ILGU. The captaincy of the society alternates each year between men and women and the society usually has six outings.
