Kilkenny leave it too late

Two second-half goals were enough to earn Finn Harps all three points on Saturday night

Two second-half goals were enough to earn Finn Harps all three points on Saturday night. Garrett Callaghan had the only real chance of a dull first half, but John Connolly saved.

In the second half, Harps managed to break the deadlock in the 69th minute when James Mulligan scored.

Callaghan made it 2-0 in the 77th minute when he raced on to Paul Cullen's pass and rounded Connolly to score. Kilkenny replied with an excellent Pierce Walsh strike, but it wasn't enough.
