Junior rowing events feature over the weekend in Cork regattas which remain, at this early stage in the season, Munster affairs.

Among the Cork crew chasing the national junior title in the eight are international junior scullers David Heffernan and Brian Young. Both double up in the J18 single sculls competition. Castleconnell Fill start the junior fours as favourites.
