David Jones from City of Derry, one of the stars of Ireland's victory in the European Boys' Team Championships last week, continued his good form when winning the Connacht Boys' Championship in Tuam on Thursday. In doing so he shot a second round 70 to set a new course record for Tuam. David and the other members of the Irish squad are taking a rest this week and will miss the Munster Boys', which begins at Shannon today.
