ITALIAN Serie A players, fed up with what they say is a high handed attitude by federation and league officials, have called a strike for March 17th.

Sergio Campana the leader of the Italian Soccer Players' Association (AIC), says that players feel let down by a lack of communication with officials.

Juventus striker and AIC committee member Gianluca Vialli said "The players don't count for much and it's not democratic. We want to vote on the decisions that interest us."
