Guinness has announced that it will sponsor the Irish Olympic team to the tune of £100,000

Guinness has announced that it will sponsor the Irish Olympic team to the tune of £100,000. The company have produced a special limited edition Guinness Olympic can and will also be the official beer to the Irish team.

Guinness helped in the sponsorship of the team at the 1932 games which yielded gold medals for Pat O'Callaghan and Bob Tisdall.
