EQUESTRIAN:The second leg of showjumping's Nations' Cup super league takes place in the centre of Rome today with Ireland seeking to improve on their fifth-place finish at La Baule earlier in the month.

The team has been drawn fifth of the nine competing in the Italian capital and the order is: Shane Sweetnam (Amaretto d’Arco), Niall Talbot (Nicos de la Cense), Cian O’Connor (Blue Loyd) and Billy Twomey (Tinka’s Serenade).

At home, 32 horses have been declared for Sunday’s round of the TRM National Grand Prix League at Ravensdale Lodge, just north of Dundalk.
