The Football Association of Ireland, along with their Polish counterparts, supporters groups in both countries and Dublin City Council yesterday launched an initiative which, it is said, “aims to recreate the special bond that existed between Polish and Republic of Ireland supporters during Euro 2012”.

Events

A number of events, including a fans’ match, are to be organised around the February 6th friendly game between the two countries at the Aviva stadium, while in the longer term it is hoped to set up a Polish Republic of Ireland Supporters Club in the hope of developing better links with the Polish community in Ireland.
