Euro 2000 co-hosts Belgium and Holland played a friendly last week as part of their efforts to prove just what happy bed-fellows they'll be next year when close co-operation will be required between the nations to ensure the tournament runs smoothly. The match finished 5-5, Belgium's Marc Wilmots was sent off, there was a second half flare-up between the teams, they spent much of their time knocking lumps out of each other and nine players were booked. Apart from that, though, it was a very friendly friendly. Can't wait for a competitive game between the two, maybe at Euro 2000?
